A growing number of guests are now planning their fly in fishing trips in September.  The later part of the year has always rewarded the hearty anglers who brave the cooler temperatures - it’s well known that the biggest northern pike are active in the fall.

But many of our guests also feel a growing attraction to seeking out the massive Canadian Moose - deep in the remote wilderness - for amazing nature, wilderness, wildlife and moose pictures. 

Anyone can take a good picture while sitting in their easy-chair, but to practice your photography during the excitement of spotting and photographing a Bull Moose with full antlers - that’s a moment you’ll never, ever forget.

The archery hunt started earlier this year.  Saturday, Sept. 15th, 2007  was opening day.  The mornings and evenings were perfect; calm and cold.  We all thought the moose rut was going to get off to a good start.  On the evening of the 19th, Jim had 3 different bulls and 2 cows vocalizing with each other! Read more…
